This is an extension/adapter for the Brompton factory rear derailleur for the P/T Line. It is designed for the Brompton factory derailleur to accommodate 25T at the 5th sprocket, whereas the maximum sprocket size without the extension is 21T.
The adapter is two-way adjustable.
The extension is made from Aluminum alloy 6061 with stainless steel fasteners.
Kit content:
- Alloy parts (2 outside covers, 2 shims, 1 adapter plate), anodized black
- Stainless steel hardware
- Stainless steel gear cable (31 strand polished)
- Gear cable housing – Jagwire LEX-SL with end caps, pre-cut to length
Instructions will be provided in the form of Youtube video.
Please note the adapter is designed for the Brompton factory derailleur. While it may be compatible with 3rd party short cage derailleurs, we cannot provide support if there are performance-related issues.
