5 Speed Freehub Body for Brompton 2 Speed Hub
5 Speed freehub body for the Brompton factory 2 speed hubs
This new freehub will fit up to 5 sprockets (road 11 speed sprocket in 11 speed spacing), and up to 6 sprockets when using 10-12T 1 piece sprocket*.
Features:
- Made from steel for durability
- Dual high quality sealed cartrige bearings
- Including pawls, pawl spring and bushing
- Including hub end caps (7075 aluminum alloy), available in either black or silver
- Including axle extension nut (alloy steel) and tensioner nut (hard anodized 7075 aluminum)
Note:
- After installing the new freehub, the wheel will need to be re-dished.
- To improve spoke asymmetry, the overall width of the hub is increased by 2mm, to 114mm. This will not damage the frame, or affect safety in any ways. Wheel removal and Installation will be as usual.
* When using 10T sprocket, when re-dishing the rear wheel, the non-drive-side spokes will need to be replaced by 2mm longer ones.
