These springs will fit the post 2018 Brompton factory shifters, more specifically the left hand 2 speed shifters, and the right hand 3 speed shifters. They will not fit the later 4 Speed shifters.
This stronger spring will resolve most, if not all, the "sticky" lever issue on many Brompton integrated shifters.
On many Brompton integrated shifters, the manufacturing tolerance of the plastic internal parts and plastic housing cause abnormal frictions, such that the levers often time do not return to positon to effect the shifting. While the issue may be resolved by sanding the internal parts, it can be more easily resolved by a stronger lever spring. A stronger spring will also produce a firmer stroke.
The springs are compatible with both derailleur (left) and hub gear (right) shifters 2017 onward. However, they are not compatible with the new 4 speed shifter (left hand) on the P/T line
The spring is made of stainless steel
The logo buttons are available in black, silver, grey, yellow, orange, and red anodized colors.
