Alexrims is a well known maker of bicycle rims in both OEM and aftermarket. Its quality has generally been regarded as good and stable. Pricing is also very attractive.
Alexrim DA16 features a good width, medium depth, and a double wall construction. This means that the DA16 has good strength and stiffness, and yet comparatively lightweight. The DA16 is quite often seen as original equipment on many folding bicycles, including Moulton. The overall look of DA16 is very similar to Brompton's post 2013 double wall rim, and is a good replacement candidate when factory rims wear out. Weight-wise, at 295g, it is slightly lighter than Brompton's single wall and double wall rims.
