This wheelset is based on BrommiePlus R010 rims, Hubsmith hubs, and Sapim Laser spokes. The R010 rim features 30mm height, 18mm internal width, and welded joints, thus making it one of the toughtest rims for Brompton. The resulting wheelset offer ultimate performance at a respectable weights of 960g, representing a saving of nearly 340g over factory counterpart.
This wheelset is configured for derailleur 3/4 speed gearing by default. However, it can be configured for standard derailleur 2 speed by using a different freehub bodies, without additional cost. Should you opt for the 2 speed ready version, please leave us a note during checkout. For the 3 speed ready version, the default setup is for 11T cog application. Please also let us know if 10T cog application is desired.
